Hello Bangkok

Here's my pictorial journal of my trip to Bangkok, the land of smile.
Afternoons were warm & sometimes it rains but still the weather was good.

Early night for us when we reach there on Friday night 'cause both of us were tired.
Decided to turn in early so we can start our 1st day early !!

Was looking for Crepes & Co at Sukhumvit but was a fail attempt 'cause they closed down that outlet.
So we went back to Platinum to have our breakfast then back to the hotel, rest and off to lunch.

As the name suggest, you can see mannequins covered with condoms as you enter the restaurant
and also there are signs that says about the right & wrong about sex and related stuff.

The restaurant was conceptualized in part to promote better understanding and
acceptance of family planning and to generate income to support various development
activities of the Population and Community Development Association (PDA).

Off to the Purr Cat Cafe. Had been following the owner of the cafe for a while and i'm totally in love with the cats. Was so happy with G agrees to go to the cafe with me 'cause he's not a animal person. But going to the cafe gives him time & space to read his books which of course he will love to go.

Not a cake person but the tiramisu was perfect for me and the size was just right. Also ordered a ice cantaloupe smooth purr which is ice blended cantaloupe juice. It's very refreshing for a warm afternoon.

The cats were so cute and fat! So in love with them. But they were different from the cats or rather stray cats in SG. I always play with the cats around my neighborhood but the ones in the cafe seems to be a little unfriendly and walk away all the time when I try to pat them. ):

Before dinner, we went back to the hotel, went for a swim then off to dinner.

Googled about the place before we went over. I'm aware that it's all street food and I'm really
excited 'cause I've never tried their street food the previous time I came. I have weak stomach
so I avoid taking street food but this time round I really want to try their authentic
Mango Sticky Rice & not forgetting the Green Papaya Salad.

Yet another early night for us.

Woke up early & decided to try the other place for Crepes & co since our fail attempt the previous day.

After breakfast we tried walking back to the hotel but failed 'cause we walked the wrong way & ended up in a cab. Was planning to visit Chatuchak market but weather was way too hot & we gave up.
Back to hotel, gym-ed & off for our super late lunch.

They have a variety of food shown on the menu and I love how they show the photos of the food they have. Not all of it but mostly the favorites & popular one. The menu reminds me of House@Dempsey.

Next up was

End the night at a roof top restaurant bar, Red Sky.
Beauitful city view & wonderful food to end the last night of our trip in Bangkok.

Tried the hotel's breakfast and off to gym. Had lunch at Platinum Mall one last time before
doing a little shopping before heading back to Purr Cat Cafe for coffee then off to the airport.
