Travelogue :: A short getaway

Yes, my short getaway to Berlin. Usually when people travel to an european country they will go for more than a week but for me this time round I only have 4 full days in Berlin. Dad & mum were lucky to won the maybank lucky draw - 3D2N hotel + Flight + a pair of bon jovi concert tickets. So they asked me to go along but I have to paid for my air tickets and top up for the hotel & We extended our days to 5D4N.
Dad & mum took air france & I took SIA as usual. When I touch down at frankfurt the plane took more than 20mins to park & I missed my connecting flight to Berlin. Waited for about an hour for the next, meanwhile my parents reach Berlin. I suppose to reach an hour earlier if I havent miss my flight. So day 1 in Berlin, did some shopping at KaDeWe, lafayette and had lobster for dinner. And all of us fell asleep when at 9plus ay night with the sun still up.

Day 2 - sunday :: visited the flea market at Mauerpark and lunch then was berlin wall and back to the hotel cos we cant seem to find a toilet. -.- lastly was sightseeing at brandenburg gate, slacking our time at starbucks and off to get our stomach filled with chinese food.

3rd Day was just walking around, roaming the streets. Got ice cream 'cause the weather was crazy. It only in Berlin we feel that we have time to walk slowly or take our time to sip on our coffee. It's so different in singapore. In sg I wil try to finish my coffee or food asap or walk as fast as I can but berlin I just feel like slacking my day through. Even dad and mum feel the same too.

4th day , and the last for me. Went a little sightseeing and Dad & mum attended Bon Jovi Concert at night. I didn't join them 'cause I have an early flight the next day.

Trip was really a good getaway from work then and having quality time spent with my parents. Always love to travel around the world and my parents make it possible to go to countries that I always wanted to.
