Had the usual brunch date with gf and doing the usual stuff. Exploring Singapore and our small photo taking session!!! Currently obsessed with wearing black & white. Always the safest colours. Ever since I'm back from Europe, I feel like I'm gonna melt under sun. Singapore is really too warm. Grow up in this country but the weather is really a killer!!!

Ending November, Welcoming December ::

Last week, due to work, I had to get my hair cut & I chopped of more than 2 inches of my hair. Since young I've always wanted long hair but my parents would always bring me for a haircut when it becomes too long for them. 

So when I'm in poly I started making my own decisions and I started growing my hair & finally my desire length but now it's all gone. Anyway hair can grow but opportunities will not always be there for you. So I guess, this hair cut is definitely worth it.

30 Dec - Saturday,

Pris was back from HK so we all meet up for dinner and a little catch up session at Dozo. Always love our short meet ups and we still have so much to talk about & we can talk about every single thing that happen.

Cold Dish :: King Crab Claw Salad drizzled with sesame vinaigrette

Side Dish :: Gratinated Escargots topped with Yuzu Butter

Soup :: Infusion of Cepes Mushroom with Truffle

And finally the main dish :: Kurubuta Pork Cheek with Onion Jack

I haven't been eating meat very often for a few months already but this kurubuta pork cheek is so damn good. It's a new item in their menu and if I were to come back again, I might still order the same one. The portion is just right for one pax but I have a small stomach so I had to share mine with everyone in order to finish it.

It's a mixture of apple, passion fruit & mint, it's really refreshing after all the food.

Here comes dessert

Everyone already guessed what I would order. Espresso Creme Brulee. Creme Brulee is always my favorite dessert x all time. There's also warm lava cake and it's not bad too. Last but not least this :

After our food we went over to wine connection Cheese bar at Robertson Quay for some drinks.

Then pf, wx & I went to join Rox and Jojo at Bianca Supper Club @ Clarke Quay. Went off early 'cause I still gotta get up the next day to revise more on my exam ):

The next morning, went out for a fulfilling brunch at Five and Dime before I start on my revision. Hot chocolate to start the meal and Spinach Tamago for the main.

It's a japanese inspired take on eggs florentine, with sautéed spinach wrapped within and breakfast potatoes for the side.

Dinner with Anna and Rox. Haven't seen Anna for the longest time and now she's back from Australia for holiday.

Dinner at Lor 9 - Frog leg then dessert at Max Brenner Katong. Poor Anna was down with flu. Please get well soon before we meet the next time (:

Busy revising for exam but I don't really have a good feeling about it. I guess I'm just not cut for things like that. Just like I don't like being trapped in an enclose area, doing the same thing over and over again everyday. It's too boring for me. Sometimes I just hope that I can do whatever that I'm interested in but I know my parents won't support me in that. They feel that it's not realistic enough and I should do something that is more stable for my future. Using my time now to think through thoroughly what I really want in my life. I'm not too old neither too young & I should stop wasting time. *Dilemma* 

Met up with Wx for a short catch up and went to Poulet @ Bugis+ for dinner.

16 November - It's Saturday again! Went for dental appointment which was arranged at 930am in the morning. It's damn early but fortunately I was able to pull myself off the bed. Brunch time after Dental at PS Cafe and movie at night - "Captain Philips".

Blueberry pancakes

Was quite shocked when I see the plate on my table because I didn't expect it to be such a big portion. Didn't want to order Eggs benedict again since I'm always having it for brunch & I wanted to try something new. The pancakes was not bad, they had a little blueberry filling in the pancakes itself but it was a little too starchy.

Eggs Benedict - Didn't try it but tried the hollandaise sauce and it was good. Better that the one I had at Graze the week before.

20 Nov - Wednesday :: Met up with Pf and Jojo for Japanese Buffet at Irodori @ Riverview Hotel. Finally we get to meet up ever since we returned from our hong kong trip. Dinner was great with great company.

Ordered more at the back but not worth the photos 'cause it's like a single piece or two pieces as we all have limited spaces in our tummy and can't really squeeze in more. Sometimes I feel that it's not very worth it for me to go for buffet 'cause I have very small appetite. Small meals but many meals for me.

After dinner we went to Garden By the Bay for a walk and short chit chat session. Always enjoy myself with their company. It doesn't matter how many times we meet a month but how we just know each other lives so well even if we don't meet and only have short catching up sessions.

Had a pleasant surprise on Friday. Time is not ripe now to talk about it. Will talk more about it when everything is confirmed (:

This week we choose Skyve Elementary Bistro & Bar after I read quite a few good reviews about it. Chose the outdoor seat as indoor was a little too cold for me.

Mushroom soup :: I think it was a little too salty, not really "wow" over it.

Brought Dad & mum & grandma out for Dim Sum Brunch on Sunday at Royal China. Last year we tried Yan Ting and it was really good. & after we tried Royal China, Mum & I agree together that Yan Ting is still the best. Shall go back there again soon.
