Travelogue | Hong Kong

Ever since bff moved back to HK, it became a yearly routine to visit HK. So G & I went for a short getaway last weekend. Finally a vacation from hectic Singapore!

Wanted to book Tigerair or Jetstar for the flight but somehow G was really nice that day and say "you don't want book SQ ah?' I'm like okay I book now. Tickets were cheap 'cause I used my mileage, so it was quite worthwhile.

The first thing I wanted was to have lunch at Tsui Wah. Was frantically googling and yes there's one near our hotel!!! We ate as fast as we could and checked in to our hotel.

Love the hotel and it's so convenient, there's cafes and teahouse nearby the hotel. Was suppose to meet G's friend but we were so late. Had to finish my makeup with 20mins and off we go to start our night.

My beauty routine when I'm overseas. I try to bring as little as possible and pack all into travel size. I think I used to bring even more stuff in big bottles >.<

Met up with bff for dinner. The food was damn good even though it's not some fanciful restaurant but still super!!! After that met G's friend and went for drinks and party. What a night for our first night.

On the second day G and I went separate ways. I went Shenzhen with bff and her mum and G went to meet his friends. & on the next day we had brunch at Cafe Habitu which is less than 5 mins walk from our hotel then we visited Avenue of Stars and accompanied G to his business meeting while I just spend my time googling and listening to them talk -.- But was great experience 'cause its not like you can meet a big boss of a listed company everyday.

We met almost everyday when she was still in SG, ('cause we're in the same poly HAHA!) and it felt weird at first when she left. We can't have our usual chill out session, wine drinking session at her house anymore. Less chatting but when we meet we still have never ending things and updating on each other lives. I miss you!!

On the last day of the trip I felt like the trip was too short. I wanted more time to explore more though  I'm there every year. But still who doesn't want holidays to never end!!! Back to Cafe Habitu then off to take the airport express to the airport.

Travelogue :: 4 Days in Hong Kong

Went off to Hong Kong with the lovely people for a short trip. It's the first time we are traveling together but it was great. Had so much fun together.

Let the photos tell the story.

"A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you, the less you knew."

Our lunch after we touch down and check into the hotel. And this is only half of it. After lunch walked around & roaming the streets for a few hours and to Temple street for dinner.

After dinner, back to the hotel and start preparing for the night.

Went party at Lan kwai fang - Play & Billion. Was good with good company! Everyone just gone into coma when we are back in the hotel. Woke up & left the hotel only at 12plus almost 1 in the afternoon. Lunch, dessert and wanted to take the cable car but we were too late so we decided to have seafood dinner at Sai Kong - 1 michelin start restaurant and dessert.

Last Day in HK, we made it must to go have breakfast at Australia Dairy Co. Heard many good reviews about it but when I really tried it, it was really normal. Nothing fantastic. Nonetheless, it's the company that made everything so much better.

Check out from the hotel and went over to queue for the crystal cable car.

After sightseeing, rush back to catch our ferry ride to Macau.
Venetian Hotel for one night (:

It was really a short trip but truly enjoyed especially when I get to spend time with my favourite girl. Hope the trip would have been longer. Great food, great company, time well spent.
